The Rules!
☆ Be polite and respectful to other members. Drama among characters is welcomed, but drama amongst members is not. If you are having a problem with another member, please send them a private message. If someone is harassing you or the problem cannot be resolved on your own, let an admin know.
☆ No immortality! We are aware living to an old age (100~) naturally is a thing that happens, and it is very well possible that there are potions that could elongate your characters life span, but no longer than 150-200 years! Necromancers can't reanimate themselves! Your character must be mortal. They have to be able to die.
☆ Your character cannot be all powerful. With that being said, it is nearly impossible for us to moderate everyone all the time. Thus, we ask that you keep your characters power level with their experience level. They cannot only have 40 exp and be able to level a city. We are aware older characters will have more experience due to being on earth longer, but still (even though we are a fantasy roleplay) keep it as realistic as possible!
☆ Faceclaims must be from an anime or manga, something you can tell us the title of and we should be able to find pictures of your character easily. Fan art is accepted but please no original character drawings!
☆ Please make a separate account for each character. If you use the same email, or go to the two little people down in the right hand corner, they will be linked, it keeps life easy.
☆ You can register with whatever name you'd like, but please change your character's name to First (M.) Last. The middle initial is optional. (EX: Paige N. Black or Paige Black)
☆ Nothing that breaks Proboards' PG-13 rule. If you really want to go beyond PG-13, then take it to a separate chat on a seperate website please.
☆ You must have a finished mini-profile before your application is accepted. (Even if you're not accepted yet, the link to your application will not change. You do not need your plotter linked.)
☆ If you decide to make a new character, you must finish the application within one month, unless I am otherwise notified of a special circumstance. If after one month you have not completed the application, your member profile will be deleted and your application will be archived. (If/When you come back, however, an admin will be happy to help you get the old application back.)
☆ Stay active !!! We don't have many members and keeping this site looking active is difficult with only one or two people online. Please try to log in to all your accounts at least once a day. I know sometimes people get busy, though, but please let us know in the hiatus thread if you will be gone for longer than a week.
☆ There is a minimum word count of 150 words. We get sometimes people can't do that, that's fine. Just as long as you do your best to match your partner's post so they aren't posting 600 words each time and you give them the bare minimum.
☆ No god-modding. You can only control your characters, no other characters. Just because you told a character to move, don't say they did so. (EX: O He told them to move aside, waiting impatiently to see the other person's reaction. X He told them to move aside, and when they did, he sat down.) If you are given permission by the other roleplayer to god-mod a bit to keep the plot moving, then it is okay. That is the only exception.
☆ In contrast, no perfect characters. Your character can't win every fight. You can't have every man/woman falling at your character's feet.
